Andrew Cooper thanked activists for ensuring a full coverage of the constituency. He said that far from being a divisive issue our concern about Palestine and Gaza had “brought people of the town together”.
Heather Peacock said that she had witnessed serious deterioration of health services over the past 14 years. She has worked for 30 years in the NHS. At the recent hustings in Holmfirth she challenged both retiring MP Jason McCartney and Labour candidate Paul Davies over their NHS policies which would further increase the extent of private provision within the health service.
