The five parliamentary candidates standing for the Green Party in the General election in July are Colne Valley – Heather Peacock; Dewsbury & Batley – Simon Cope; Huddersfield – Andrew Cooper; Ossett & Denby Dale – Neil Doig; Spen Valley – Martin Price.
The boundary changes have put Denby Dale and Kirkburton in a new Ossett & Denby Dale constituency; Mirfield in Spen Valley; Crosland Moor and Netherton in Huddersfield.

A full campaign is operating in Huddersfield constituency where Green Party has a serious chance of upsetting expectations. Green Party votes in the local elections were within 3% of the Labour share of the votes across the 6 wards.
